I pinched this from crackberry.com
1 - Click on the new BBWeather icon.
2 - Since no locations are set up yet, you'll receive an error that there are no profiles set up, just click OK with the trackball.
3 - Press the trackball (NOT the Menu button) and click Options.
4 - Press the Menu key and click Add.
5 - For all US locations, use the zip code for the Location. Use this for zip codes you don't know, or for non-US zip codes:
ASP.NET Resources - Determine location ID for the weather server control
6 - Enter a description name (i.e., LA, Orlando, New York).
7 - You can keep the Forecast Days at 5, or increase it up to 10 days.
8 - If you would like the temp displayed in Fahrenheit, leave the Units as 'Standard'. For Celsius, change it to 'Metric'.
9 - Click OK to save.

hi guys quick question in your BB experience, which BB would you say is the one that is able to do everything and thats easy to get used to.
i have had my eye on the 8310 as this one has GPS.
your help is much appreciated
indian.
8310 Is a Curve with GPS and has a camera
8800 Is better looking but hasnt got a Camera and some people dont like the keyboard.
They are both full QWERTY and great.
I would assess if you need a camera or not.
* Indeed on the camera!
And to mix it up just a bit more ...
8320 - BB that has Camera, WiFi, no internal GPS chip.
8820 - BB that has WiFi, GPS chip, no internal Camera.
Note all 8800 series BB's you don't have to remove the battery itself to change the MicroSD card (with sizes of 4GB its hard to see why anyone would very frequently). However you still have to remove the battery cover. Only the newer 8130/8120's have external MicroSD card access.

Out of curiousity ... what do you have set in your BB's Options> TCP for the APN? is it blank?
I'd say close the app entirely, powercycle your BB ... double check your city's code for weather location once again. double check it online at the weathernetwork.com & also weather.com just to be certain the code is the same.
I'll do a little more digging to see what I can find.
