Another thing I've noticed is when using the alarm. On the standby screen. After turning the alarm off. When I go to set it for the following day or 1/2 hour later.
Each time I press the time display to get to the alarm menu the alarm goes off another 3 times before going into the menu.

As you can see from the picture above, the new email received icon doesn't show on top of the screen when there is a new email in the inbox, and my display notification was checked to ON. I solved the problem by doing what I used to do with my Blackbery - a battery pull (Pull out battery while the phone is still on and keep it out for 30 seconds, then restart the phone). I have the new updated software R6E30.

About half the time when I switch on, the phone stops with a "SIM blocked" message telling me to contact my network. Rebooting again always seems to clear it.
I imagine this only happens to me (and might be a physical problem with the SIM), because no-one else has reported it, but I thought I'd check just in case.

yeah i had that as well. was just entering bluetooth settings to turn it off, when the phone reset itself, giving me the above message!
Anyone notice that if the phone crashes or resets itself, it doesn't know how to totally dim the backlight after inactivity, and stays in the lower dimmed mode so that it is still always visible? I have to do a proper restart to fix it...

m.youtube.com works. Those are converted to 3gp format already. Unfortunately, the P1i lacks support for Flash, so no go for the full website.
Does it ?
I have my second P1i (got one branded 1st, and returned it to the provider. Now I have an unbranded one), and I'm unable to see any video on m.youtube.com.
The Media viewer is opening, buffering, and then.... just nothing happens ! It stops to load the video, and doesn't play anything

This was exactly the same on the previous P1i.
note that this one has the latest software. The previous one had a provider specific firmware.
