It appears as if Vodacom has blocked the 1h1.net proxy.

On logging into this live.vodafone.com.1h1.net i get the Following Error when trying to access it.

"Server not found - Firefox can't find the server at live.vodafone.com.1h1.net.
# Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

# If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

# If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

The following still works - ""live.vodafone.com.foxyn.com/cgi-bin/nph-get.cgi/000110A/http/www.googele.com when accessing www.google.com"

Yep i'm also blocked out, any other proxies, even on the phone 1h1.net and mycroc are blocked

yea on cellc also layyit and mycroc are blocked when i tried this morning. but chinagrows and fastget still works perfectly

The reason why these proxies are blocked are because of us. How i found this site was to google "free vodacom gprs". why couldn't voda operators or mods or whatever we call them these days do the same. they come into forums like this that even show them how to enable free browsing. and what they do is counteract it by blocking one of the steps. we should try and be more discreet about the flaws in our networks, instead of telling them whats wrong. I have a few ways of connecting and downloading, uploading from rapidshare and other sites, but do i really want to share it with people that share it with the world? when i'm the one who loses out in the end?

I think, networks didn't block 1h1.net, instead 1h1.net block the trick we use, why? I tried it in om i input
wap.amob.com.1h1.net

the result is could not locate remote server

but when i input
1h1.net

the page was loaded.

In other words 1h1.net gets a firewall on their site not allowing dot and ip trick on their site.
