Help! My 6600 is sluggish beyond belief, even after i've formatted thrice, both hard and soft format, also 3button format. Had firmware re-installed, same probz. Won't even pick up gprs signal ;o( Any advice? It's driving me insane!

man that sucks. Ok lets see if we can isolate the issue. You said that you formatted your phone. Have you restored from a recent backup? If so then settings and apps or the apps settings. Do another format after removing the memory card then see how its doing. If the same result, then the phone maybe going south. Also use a file explorer and dig thru memory card directories like a fine pick comb. You may find something interesting.

I missed that you, Pratick, said that you had updated your 6600 with a new firmware. Did you by chance know the firmware of your phone, and was it done at a Nokia center? If so I suggest getting your phone back to them asap & let em know its their fault for the buggy firmware.

Error: Services: reply unknown is received when trying to download Opera 8 as well as the other browser you mentioned. I get the same message with both.

hi mason! If your getting that error message when trying 2 download the Opera browser or NetFront browser directly 2 your phone. Its more than likely the hosted server - youll notice there are many with Opera v8 - has passed its download max or is having issues. Has nothing 2 do with ur phone being locked or branded. Just select a different server from Opera's drop down list. Not sure if NetFront can be downloaded directly from their site -> Access the company.

Just wont answer that in the open. Now i think i can say that hacked files are on a specified medium on the internet. Just cannot mention how to obtain them out in the open. Besides i dont want a thread of hassle s and cursing at me because some1 thinks i will support the hacked file when i cannot or wont. Just remember what i said about backups and formats. This goes with purchased files too. The rules an almost all forums regarding this is to protect any user from stress and blame. Even the moderators and also site owners.
