When I say it is just a phone, I do not mean that we should not talk about it. I only mean that it should not elicit such ire and venom. If PK stole your phone then I could understand a certain amount of anger. Short of that, there is no need to abandon civility in this forum.

I don't blame PK for any of the mistakes about the announcements. In the end, SE has the priority to call off any phones they want. It's not the first time they've done this, but many times where the schedule of the phone's announcement is changed. PK knew that it was suppose to be announced this Wednesday, but SE decided to change it at the last minute. We have to remember that PK is not SE who makes the final decision, he shares what he knows, and that's that.

they think SE need to answer to every posting we have here requesting what they should do
i believe SE answer to the request of network operator since they control their product shipment quantity. Esato member is only like 0.3% or less if we compare to the total shipment of phone in 2007 (100 million vs esato member of 150thousand or less)
so when all rumour or request not fullfil...they flame whoever spread rumour or generate the buzz
since so many picture and link show P1 upgrade is coming...wait lah.
you ain't going to get the product the next day after it was announce or it will make the product out one quarter early if the announcement event of them come one month late.
it seem like we have all this portfolio rumour thread for 2yrs but many of the poster never grow....in fact they get more and more child like!

Well we all know 3 things as FACT.
SE is testing this P5i ... SEMC screenshot provided by the Mizzle!
We know that the G series is working on the Symbian 9.2 with UIQ3.2!
We know that developers will NOT need a new SDK for these G series.
what does this mean for the upcoming P5i (IF it'll be called that)??
Symbian 9.2 is VERY solid & considered proven along with UIQ3.2
Touch Screen and joystick navigation seems to be perfected in the G series which may follow with a P1i & W960i update within a few months (or not) - here's to hoping.
The delay if you think about it is NOT that long from the P990i's debut if you INCLUDE the release of the P1i. If you didn't upgrade to the P1i and you STILL crave for UIQ GUI then I see that you're hurting more than a whino looking for a bargain $9 whine.
I'm wondering if the P5i is delayed, not only because of Sunday's X1 announcement; but ALSO for new Symbian 9.3/4/recently 9.5 implementation with UIQ3.2?? For UIQ3.2 to be used on Symbian 9.5 there surely must mean HEAVY TWEAKING to use all of the OS' functions. Also getting an SDK right is another programming task.
