That's interesting.

What features will we gain from the most with this update?

That's a feature that can be turn on and off.

Snip

Indeed, hence why i threw up a suggestion as to another possible reason for the wide variation in battery life between handsets. Unfortunately, i too am suffering poor performance from the battery from something as simple as reading off it during the 40 min train journey to and from work.

Most common problem with battery seem to be all autoumatic update stuff that seem to be turned on.

Yes all disabled in my case with no discernable difference - having to look elsewhere.

On a seperate note: good job all round: SE profits are up which is clearly good news. Now hopefully that will go some way in looking after the X10 crowd

@tranced

DUDE! I just remembered i have a good friend in Canada! I'm asking her if she's willing to get the phone for me direct from Rogers without contract for $550 and ship it to me. Then I can debrand it here. SO much cheaper than any ebay deal at the moment!

I just looked on the rogers website.. THEY HAVE WHITE!!! I'm SO EXCITED.. i hope my friend agrees

AND just to clarify:

Debranding also unlocks, but unlocking doesn't necessarily debrand. Correct?

Tried it and hated it witha passion. I left the back cover one on but that's it - looked "tacky" and
felt worse so it's a martin fields on the front ....

Why not try raceshield?? Its made from the same material yet is thinner and smoother. I had it applied on my X10 and Satio ^^

I have a question regarding Mediascape. It seems to me that all my pictures copied onto my memorycard shows the same date and time of wich they where taken (the date of copying). This never happened on my w995 or my Satio, they always showed the pictures by year,month,date etc. Anybody who is experiencing the same ?
