Hi, shithappens
Hi guys, how about comparing the Maxis Gprs & Digi Prepaid Gprs?
which one is better & cheaper & reliable.
I am currently using MAXIS GPRS but i find that Digi prepaid has a lot to offer now. maybe i will just get a digi just for GPRS & WAP.
Does DIGI has better support and better tech?
How about hotlink? do they have gprs?
Any comments....?

sthon,
There is pros and cons in every product. I'll say DiGi is okay but ain't that intensive compares with Maxis. You're right! DiGi Prepaid has lot to offer compare to Hotlink especially GPRS, Int. Roaming, Call Waiting, etc whereas in Hotlink, only advance sms, interactive mobiles, 5 most call list, etc. Nope! Hotlink got no GPRS.
For your information DiGi Postpaid user using GPRS is only charged for RM0.05 per 10KB and DiGi Prepaid user are charged for RM0.10 per 10KB whereas Maxis Postpaid are charged for RM0.04 per KB.
That's the different!

So it appears I am being overcharged by maxis for the WAP GPRS usage. What about the congestion and speed of DIGI's GPRS service?
Is there a way to back-up the THPS game in T310 to my PC? I'm planning to do the 13sec Master Reset thingy...

@Alex,
yup, Hotink has no GPRS. at the moment i am using the post paid maxis & it really costly. Since the DIGI is having a promotion on their prepaid, i might get one to try out.
how's the DIGI coverage?
Seems that their X2 promotion really selling well.
there's been no stock on it because they are giving free t shirt.

@2SHY,
No congestion I've experience before. Been quite heavy GPRS user in "WAPPING", IM and MMS.
Not sure about the 13sec on T310 but you can try Christersson backup software at
www.Christersson.org
@sihon,
The coverage definitely not as good as Maxis but I'll say that in major cities shouldn't be any problem unless you are in Ulu Ulu place.
Try KL Plaza. Just got one today for my cousin... very nice number too.

Novell,

don't need a special store for that. the purpose of nokia having those store is to garranty original product from the authorize dealer.
sthon,
using Maxis GPRS is expansive. but somehow u can configure ya mms using thier wap. wap r cheaper in certain way but due to the connection slow. u might get delay of getting ya msg. for maxis user. wap from 00:01 till 09:00 they charge RM0.10 per 5 minute. that's a good deal.
