like i said... you have to flash MAIN and FS, but some member tried flashing using a different FS... and it was all good...

you should put some files on the FS box, may it be the newer firmware or the older one...

dunno if its that safe to do that.
tho i think EU1 is available on the link providedby Max_wedge

Now I got it.. I have an R1KG001 Europe1 FS... and a R6... K810 America2 FS.

As we can add languages extracting them from FS.. I think its safer for me to flash both FS [Eu2] and MAIN [generic] R8BA024R.
After that, just add the desired language!

That should work, doesn't it?
[no especial caracters, like china main fw]

And if I flash FS than I'll need to finaliza it with some custom pack... does this custmpacks have especific versions?

adding language still doesnt work with DB2020, atleast thats what i know the last time i flashed....

just to give you a hint.... i dive into the R8B fad because i was so curious about updating (as if i wasnt before ) even tho i know they didnt have APAC available yet... coz the English language will suffice for me.

but i think in your case, you cant let go of your language set...

i guess you should settle with your current firmware... in the meantime, whatever files you want to be extracted with the new firmware, just say so and ill upload them...

how bout that?!

Oh! I read on a thread that it was just copy 2 files, than add the allowed lang on customize.xml. IF the language added did not depend on especial caracters not present on MAIN.

But yeah I'll leave it like that for a while.. maybe wait SEUS.

Is there a problem if I flash to a different CDA that I'm using now?
now is Eu1, but I'd like to try Ameria2.
Main is generic.

Well, XS++2.2 already include many customization. If you really in need try the custom file at topsony. Then choose own_customization at XS++.

Or try this: http://www.shenliang.net/downloading.asp at the buttom there seems a lot of custom file in RAR (that you could use with XS++ own custom file). Have not try it since the connection is too slow for me.

I am sorry seems that this site pack their custom file with bin. Maybe for their client only, so may not be usefull!
