I don't know if this had been discussed but it seems to me that Sony is giving the Z1 an aggressive advertisement move, their best effort probably so far since the xperia range. It's the first time I've seen them having both ads in Tv and youtube as well.

May I ask if our beloved Z1 supports MHL 2.0 already? I'm planning to purchase the Samsung MHL 2.0 adaptor (since Sony's are not available in our country), which in fact the only difference with the 1.0 is the power output (500 mA on 1.0, 900 mA on 2.0)...

I bought a cheap MHL 1.1 adaptor and it says insufficient power on the z1, though TV out does work, so I assuming it need something higher than 1.1. I tried my samsung s3 mhl adaptor, nothing happen. I think someone told me before the S3 mhl adaptor is customize to work only for S3, so its like property stuffs. Not confirmed though.

I suppose you have a laptop with internet at home? connectify --> connect mobile with Wifi --> check data usage.

Right, but I have bought one few days ago. Just testing it atm. It has many small bugs with the latest firmware.
I see some improvements, but also some disadvantages over Z.

Yes, I know. But this is not better than before. The old mod was much better. You had the chance to turn on many languages or only one language. Now it's all mixed... and I can't type smooth cause too often wrong words...
On my Z I can use both options, Sony should add this again...
Also what I miss is the number line on top. In the Z Ultra you have always the numbers on top, thats just great!

I'm not talking about bugs BTW, thosa can happen, even Nexus 5 with the pure google has some bugs.. I'm talking about advantagees and disadvantages! thanks

I think he meant that you choose the langauges you need and the 3 prediction are mixed... if you want only one language you can put it that way... for example I would activate Italian, English and German because they are the language I use the most...!
