Hi all:) first post in this thread ! Am from Bangalore:) btw any1 seen the Aino or Satio in stores and know the price?

Hey, welcome aboard. This used to be the most active thread here on Esato in its heydays. Seems everyone moved on.. since. BTW, havent seen the Satio in stores. I am VERY interested as to how SE will price it. With phones like the Omnia HD and the N97 already available, ridiculous pricing is the last thing SE needs.

i guess all got busy with their life...
i do visit esato...fortnightly for the SE 2009 thread front page.
But SEIR thread is hidden so deep in the pile that i rarely come here

My P990 (yup,its still with me...lots of scratches,paint is off,RIP jog dial,camera cover acts weird,touchscreen not working at edges,loose fastport etc ...to add to the already faulty handset from SE) ..bah!

So anyway, a new phone update is also in the horizon for me...but i want to wait till i passout (another 1.5 years).but if my p990 dies on me...next phone should have good camera and "excellent" video recording(atleast dvd quality),large memory and large screen are some of the must haves.. htc hd2, SE rachael, htc android phones, are some look promising.

Thanks whizkidd:) all the 3 new releases from SE is shown as available and priced suprisingly well on univercell.in but they dont deliver all over India though

Your requirements point towards an Omnia HD with 1280X720 HD video recording @24fps , it has a 3.7 inc screen (large enough?) But its S60 though.
@ steveatkoss, yes the prices at univercell are usually good. Too bad they don't deliver here in the northern parts of the country where phones are ridiculously expensive (compared to the south)

On a separate note, Glad to see some activity here

@ whizkidd SE is havin a press conference in Delhi i think for the official release of Yari Aino n Satio..cellpassion jus tweeted they are attendin it and asked for any qs for SE..they also mentioned the price as per SE 28 n 36 for Aino n Satio which is imo ridiculous really! Wth are they thinkin? Jus hope those prices are rrp n not actual prices retailers quote

I knew about the press conference. Had it been in Mumbai, I'd have gone, since I had the invite . As for the prices, I guess they will actually sell for a couple of thousands less.

Oh cool lucky u man how did u get the invite may i ask :) hope the price s as u suggested else i dont see even avg sales happenin...btw where have all the people gone ?
