600 pound for a cellphone ?!?! Wtf - you people are either very rich or very sick or both. And that for a device with yester-year's specs ! I think I am out of here for a while - greetings from South Africa.

I "only" paid: 5876 SEK = €638 = £420
SIM free!

Anyone going to purchase a cheap RyanAir ticket to Sweden and save a few pounds?

Worth giving Expansys a call - if it is your first large order with them they may need to confirm card details etc. over the phone.

I remember having to do this with my first large order with them ages ago...

i called them, guy wasnt really that helpful/didnt sound interested.

he said it can take from a few minutes to a few hours.
i said did he need to ask me any questions etc,to speed up the process as id never ordered from them before.
and he said no as it it was an automatic process

May be worth giving them a call again in a while just to be sure. I know I'd be sick as a parrot if everyone else gets their tomorrows and mine was held up due to slow card processing...

well, my phone has been shipped by expansys already - even have the tracking number - pre 9am delivery for tomorrow

i have tried to contact phones2udirect all day but can't get through - i've emailed them to cancel my order - just hope they do cancel otherwise i might end up with 2 P990's tomorrow!

anyone had success ringing phones2udirect? seems odd that you can't get in touch with them?....

Haven't got a tracking number from Expansys yet, but the order status does show my order as being shipped.

Just got mine although Royal mail website says check back later....oooh soon gonna be in my hands. Hopefully before 9am if previous special deliveries are anything to go by .

Its going to be a long day and night, knowing me ill be up at crack of dawn waiting for the postman to deliver my phone

OMG, a few hours ago, the stock at Expansys UK was 284 sets, now it is at 58.

Seems like they are selling like hot cakes at the moment, could this be the new number one seller for expansys??.

I haven't heard much from any North Americans on this topic but here in Vancouver, Canada, I'll be getting one by the end of the week from a local retailer.

Seriously!!! If the price is £600 in UK I will purchase 10 P990i here in Swedeb from my store where I bought mine and sell them for £500 in UK ans still make a descent profit even when air fair is payed!

Hmm you could do that, just put them on ebay and see what happens but i would imagine in a few weeks time the price of the p990i will drop in the UK. Just at the moment expansys know people out there are willing to pay £600 for this phone whereas others will wait till the price drops.
As i said its the price you pay for the latest and newest phones out there and im used to paying over the odds for such items
