Highly unlikely. You should know by now SE are slow in adopting to new technology.

Don't be silly. What can you tell from that screen?
If you were to see that screen of the K750i and that same screen of the K610i, it looks identical, but being a user of both, I can say that the software on the K610i is far more advance than that of the K750i.
It's like looking at the old and the new face lifted BMW 5 series. They look almost the same but under the hood the new one is a totally new beast.
not correct, a new ui at least should show fresh gui/graphical changes!
if not it just old ui with supplement/few changes

nothing new & i will bored out!

You have the same hopes as me. I also hope Elena will have GPS too. If it doesn't, I won't buy it.

Nobody said it's a new UI (interface per se), it's only a system platform that is so modified that a lot of people call it "new", it has so much more potential than the original one especially when it comes to multi java implementation, just takes time for the developers to write new programs and abuse what the platform can now do
and more on button arrangements. the live pic on mobileburn shows a new system that is closer to what Japanese SE phone buttons were aligned like
S_______S
____^____
_____
YES_V__NO
__________
M____C___M
1____2____3
4____5____6
7____8____9
3 more buttons, with the C button directly underneath the D-pad, and the other 2 that can be customized and branded (vodafone Live!, Hutchison3 Portal etc, plus one multimedia/multitask button)
this is the same arrangement used by 90% of Japanese domestic phones 2 years ago, and it's something that a lot of people in the company have been fighting for so many years. however, the Japanese have already switched again, this time moving the dial and hang up buttons even lower to right above the alphanumeric keys, and moving the customizable internet/multimedia buttons above them
S_______S
____^____
_____
M___V___M
__________
YES__C__NO
1____2____3
4____5____6
7____8____9
and to transform to this, might take another 3 years before an average non-Japanese use more mobile internet, i.e. when you dial you dial and focus on the lower half of the keypad, when you want to browse, it shouldnt require you to type much (i.e. the portal is well-established enough, which vodafoneLIVE is still quite poorly organized unfortunately)
the screen on the official pic is a typical Hamekomu-cut&paste, Live screens are usually more authentic.

Well, isn't that what themes are for then? To give your UI a different look if that is all you are after that is cosmetic changes and not improved usability, stability and so on.
If that's the case you're most likely one of those who would move to Windows Vista.. lol... but this is getting OT.
But I can see where you're coming from. Maybe they should give an option for users to customise the icons of the menu or more choices with the 'layout'. They already did a good job with the clock view mode and the picture browsing screen.

the so-called "third softkey" as shown on the screen is really unecessary, I mean the center of hte D-pad can only be Enter, what else can it be, stumbling on the same page, pop up a smiley face? Stupid Samsung has confused so many people with that stupid "i button" at the middle

"Third softkey" is required in K850 (if the design is final) since the D-pad has no center key.
PS: New here, so Hello everybody

U'r right matey. i'm planning movin to vista soon. Yeah according to me, the true power of the hardware is the software. Imagine if SE os/ui have inbuilt capability of:
-3D wapaper
-New 3D menu system(vista style)
-Active standby
-unlimited sms storage(shared memory)
-can create custom sms folder
-periodic sms alert
-customizeable backlit timer
-running not only java but linux software
-Dedicated office viewer (pdf, doc, txt) like samsung inbuilt picsel viewer.
surely SE will gained alot of consumer

Not true. Already back in 2005 they were planning DVB-H phones, but the Swedish government wa very slow at giving the green lights. And what about colourscreens? And Bluetooth? Both things were the work of Ericsson. Then Sony came along and Walkman and CyberShot were introduced. Now they have hooked up with Sagem - what do you think will happen then?
