I have had a BUG with the new firmware that I was just wondering has anyone else had. The little WAP symbol i.e. blue globe keeps randomly appearing when i am not using GPRS at all. I then have to go into mobile accounts and close the connection to get rid of it.
It could be a problem, but on the other hand it could also be your phone trying to connect to GPRS because you are receiving an MMS message?
If you think this could be the reason you could try this:
Go to Menu > Messaging > Settings > Picture message > Auto download. Then change the Auto download setting to 'Always Ask'. Then you can pin point the problem and determine whether or not your K750i is connecting to GPRS for a purpose or if it's just a bug.

Only two things I noticed since updating to R1AA008, one is that the phone is dropping some calls...when someone calls me and I press the answer button the phone does nothing but drops the call..., also the phone the phone sometimes resets itself when connecting to the USB cable...

Hi all!
I updated my W800i (Netherlands, Orange network) phone's firmware to R1AA008, but after that my IMEI number has changed... It used to end with ...0-6-06, now it's ...0-6-08.
Has the same happened to anyone else?

Today, the Online Update Service link appeared again in the Mexico Support section. I run (again) the client and still got the R1N035 f/w. I guess I'll try till next year...
Or, after reading the battery shortage matters....I guess Im going to skip this update, LOL.
Anyways...Happy Holidays to everyone.
Peace

Download
this certificate to your phone via Bluetooth and then Gmail should be OK again. At least that solved the same problem for me . . .

Have anyone noticed a couple of problems with the Media Player in the K750 after upgrading to R1AA008?About every second time or so I start it with the music button it does not want to resume where I stopped it the last time. Instead it takes a while before it starts to play anything and just starts with the first play list, which of course is the built-in "All music" playlist. And sometimes the music button does not work if the keypad is locked.
