As i said its the price you pay for the latest and newest phones out there and im used to paying over the odds for such items
At least going by past experience the P series phones have been pretty sound buys and maintained high prices thoughout their lifetimes. Hopefully the P990i will be no different.

Anyone else the same...order status says it shipped but no email?

just phoned them again,this time got through to a really helpful guy,who checked my order ,and said it can take upto an hour or so.

Yes mines been shipped according to expansys but no email and to be honest im not that fussed as the same thing happened with my m600i that i ordered from them a few weeks ago. In fact i got the shipping confirmation email the morning i got my phone

I wouldnt worry about it too much, expansys tend to be good at getting stuff out for deliveries...its just royal mail that tends to mess it up at the end

Congrats! I ordered from foneshop.com in the end as they received their stock a few hours before Expansys - seemed like a good idea at the time!

Im on the same position, no confirmation e-mail and no tracking number yet.

Looks like expansys stock is down to 60 now, this morning they had close to 300 units.

Most probably, just like the n80...bought it when it first got released...think i paid almost £570 for it..cant really remember but within a few days the price had gone down to just under £400 and is now £370 sim free.
But i didnt keep it, sent it back after a days use as it was pretty dire to be honest. Definitely wasnt worth the £570 though, still dont think its worth it but anyways.
Hmmm i might send the p990i back and wait for a few days and see what prices they settle out at hehe...save myself some money in the meantime.....hmm decisions decisions......nah forget that idea ive been waiting far too long for this damn phone to finally make an appearance
Oooh almost forgot, so whos gonna buy a 4gb mem card for their p990i??. Seen 2 on expansys, one sells at £100 and the other sells at £116...only difference i see is one is red in colour and the other is black in colour...hmmmm
