Actually i took a look at the Handago X1 page the other day and was wondering what happened to all the apps that were being made for just the X1? as although there are loads of apps they are just the same WM apps as before. Same thing goes for where are all the custom panels that were going to create this all new user eco system any sign of them anywhere yet?

SE should have hired the same company that did the iPhone advertising. Simple, straightforward "what can I do with this phone" type of ads. Where is the X1 equivalent to Monkey Ball (accelerometer free of course)? IOW, there needs to be some wow factor added to the X1 beside the X-panels. X-Panels are practical, yet boring. There needs to be something that makes the X1 look appealing to mainstream just by seeing it on television.
OK, I'm done with my rant.
Told you all La La Leigh was a waste of space! but seriously lok at the phone the X1 only has one real "feature" the panels! and they are nothing ground breaking.
The more I look at this device, the more I am convinced its a lot of hype surrounding a rather ordinary product with little real substance about it.
Why else create that Johnny X crap? simple, make the hype around the product big enough and people might just assume they are buying something far more exciting than the rather ordinary product they will actually find them self owning!

The fact that so far the only network to commit themselves to carrying the device for certain are Vodafone, tells me that the others were sufficiently underwhelmed to turn it down I shall be taking a long hard look before i invest any of my cash in the thing.
