I wouldn't want to be driving the Indica on the rural Eastern Cape roads, it will probably fall apart by the end of the journey.

Man, those potholes are DEEEEEP. I remember driving up to Tabankulu from Port Elizabeth a few years ago, 4 of us in a friend's 320i. The distance from Tabankulu Education Dept Offices to the school where my wife was to be stationed is a few metres shy of 6km. It took us exactly 3 hours to get there... Upon arrival the staff were amazed at the fact that we made it up the mountainside in a car, the route usually being travelled either on foot, 4x4 or by donkey. It was hilarious really, having to stop the car every two metres or so to remove boulders from the road, then attempting those wonderful potholes. I have to add though, the views from the mountain tops are breathtaking.

Dr Id say its doing better than the new Proton at the same time of its release... so its not all that bad in terms of sales... I think Tata is on par with what they expected... hope they didnt have higher expectations...

Help me out here...how does someone like Jacob Zuma, with all the alleged scandals, reported wrong-doings et al,still manage to have so much support?

Some people supported JZ because they believe he was innocent. I think thet samething will happen with the rape scandal, some people might believe that it another plot.
I just think his supporter have so much faith on the guy.

Zuma not a paragon of neo-liberal politricks,more insular,conservative,commie links,grand-scale land grabs...?
Being insular et al sure got a certain neighbouring country back on its financial feet, from the brink of economic self-destruction..not!!
Has Zuma the potential to be another Mugabe if he became prez?

Well, credit has to go to Mugabe for standing by his word.... He promised to put Zim back on its feet, and he certainly has. With the price of fuel being what it is over there, they all have to walk to get wherever they're going- nobody can afford to drive anywhere!

@ Kryptik,
Not compounded by fuel shortages too?

LOL@ da krypsta...Yeah, guess they'll have to walk. But on a serious note should Zuma become president all of the work that's been done to reconcile this country in the last 11 years would've gone to waste.
In 20 years time you might have to carry that Tata Indica on your back if Zuma has his way.

The thought that the Cryril Ramaphosas et al aren't likely to allow any Zimnastix is reassuring. Zuma may be an articulate chap these days (well-versed speech-writers? Voice training?) but the one thing that he's not is in the same mental class as the black intelligentsia. Those guys have not only the gift of the gab but also the reasoning powers of a roomful of supercomputers, so unless Mr.Z pulls a very clever and convincing rabbit out of the hat i think the ANCYL's support will start dwindling, and that, my friends, will signify the demise of JZ. I see that the Deputy-Prez, over the weekend at a meeting in PE, called for unity in the party. Clever move on her part...

Guys what makes you thing that Zuma will break things down?
I think Zuma is just a loyal man, I don't think he is the Mugabe type. No.
