@king-james - only phone with stereo speakers is HTC one and while it does sound better, it's not THAT much of a difference. having stereo sound on such a small device with such relatively small speakers is pretty pointless really.
the shatterproof film (what i think you're calling the foil) is a pain as it is a finger print magnet and it does scratch easily. but knowing this, i put a screen protector over it and am perfectly fine with the result and i get to keep the sony logo (yet another fail but nothing major). and i was talking about the metal frame being more rounded than the Z, making it more comfy in the hand.
@bono - i've got fifa 13 on my PC.. if you're on origin, we should play each other (i think we can.. not sure).

No I can't as I don't own a console right now though my brother does.

@moogoo
yes, you feel that it's confortable, but you will first notice the device is bigger and heavier... If same size with rounded corners, then you would say it's smaller...

Surely the Xperia Z1 has the power to do second screening when compared unless there is something else the PS Vita has that the Z1 doesn't

@king-james - a few grams isn't a big deal to me. in fact i kinda prefer the heavier feel. seems more solid and premium

it is a bit bigger than it probably could be for a 5" screen, but it's still quite comfortable for me and i wouldn't say i have huge hands or anything.
like i said, to each their own.
@xperiajunkie - who knows. it could be a feature that may be pushed to the Z1 some day. but vita runs sony's own OS whereas Z1 is android. perhaps it's not a matter of processing power, but OS compatibility in order to make it work and work well. could also just be a strategy to hopefully increase sales of the vita

Never gave the OS a thought to be honest. If it was to come to Z1 and future Xperia devices then PlayStation Mobile will step up to the level it needs to be at as at the minute it isn't that great plus it will have a massive pull on customers who have a PS4 and are ready for an upgrade from their iPhone, Samsung, HTC and more it could be the deal clincher for many potential customers.

Can anyone tell me how to root Z1 without unlock boatloader? Also, how to move apps from phone memory to SD card on Z1? Thanks

surely xperiajunkie - but we all know sony sometimes can't get their heads out from their asses and realize that what they've created, while great in its own way, isn't what the world wants or just isn't as great as they think it is. they've stuck to their guns to their own detriment many times in the past. you'd think they'd learn.. in a way they have as they are great about adopting standards now.. but they still have a lot more to learn, i think.
caff - think randomuser linked something to you on previous pages. as for moving to SD, that feature has been removed from android and i think the only way to do it now is with a 3rd party app. doing so, mind you, can and does effect many apps and widgets.

wish games and those GPS would let you install data on SD cards. Maps are the one taking up most of the storage on my z1.
