don't know if this is has been raised by others before; in the firmware R1AA008, you can now enter more than 1 character when searching through your address book

I just checked the software-data folder folder where the update downloads to before updating to the phone...but the two files in there end in R1N035. Thats the firware my phone already has! Why am I unable to download the newer firmware? Anyone got any ideas?

I have updated my K750i to R1AA008 at SE service point and there is still the shutter sound in silent mode. Can that be fixed without losing warranty?

That has always been possible.
You're wrong man! it depends on your customization (or whatever you call it)! I have a Hong Kong phone and it is STILL not possible to do a multicharacter search. By the way, is it only me that can't do that? anyone with a hong kong version of firmware who can do multicharacter?

R1AA008 Software bug / "buguette"....
As I've mentioned before, I recently updated from R1L002. With my old FW I could zoom into any picture in my phone, but with the new one if an image larger than 1632pixels wide and/or 1224pixels tall, then no zoom function is available.
This is a pain, as I used to enjoy showing off to my friends by taking a panoramic picture then zooming in & scrolling across. This is no longer possible as the resulting panoramic picture is 1648x432 pixels!!

I did the Master reset, MS format re-firmware thing & the phone seems a lot faster now & my battery bar hasn't dropped much since yesterday. Cheers again for that.

I flashed my K750i to a W800i using TMS yesterday. It took about 10-15 mins. After it finished, TMS came up with an error stating something like:
Battery depleted- your phone is not damaged but you will not be able to turn the phone on to complete flashing. You must put battery into another phone to fully charge and re-flash again once charged.
I sat panicking for a minute because i thought i damaged my phone, and i couldn't do what it advised (charge battery with another phone) because i didn't have another SE phone that could charge this BST-37 battery.
Baring in mind this was odd because i had fully charged my battery before flashing. But strangely enough, i took the battery out, put it back in and turned the phone on and it was fully functional. I still don't get why Total MultiServer came up with that error. My W750i phone is working gr8- at least i hope. That error message has gotten me worried that something will be wrong. Anyways, because TMS came up with that error, it says it didn't charge me a credit (bonus!).
My question is, is this normal? Does everyone else get this error when flashing a K750i with W800i firmware on TMS? Also my other question is that looking at my model info in the secret menu it reads 'K750i' even though i have all the Walkman features- i'm assuming this is normal?

Is this R1AA008 update available for all phones on all networks? Cos I've tried everything but I cant get this update on my phone. Everytime I run the update utility and it checks the phone it says 'W800 T MOB INT A' is available and flashes my phone. Yet I still end up with R1N035 on my phone. The same happens with my sisters W800. I've tried everything!

I have noticed since updating to R1AA008 that when I go through my games in file manager the screen goes white, then black and usually resets itself.
This happens if I play several games for a short while or am just going through them deleting them. ITS REALLY ANNOYING.

Another bug just discovered :
If i rename email account in the email client, all the emails become blank ! Can't read any ! If i select transfert message or answer including the received text, it then display the mail !
Any of you have this?
