Why waste time. I was told the same in SE service center too. (ie chargeable). SE should make the announcement to all their service point on this vs calling up by each users !

hi, looking to get this phone, where do you guys to suggest to buy. Need definitely be local warranty. Singtel is still at 1188 2yr plan, but I heard that some are selling w/o plan 1238, so the Singtel price must come down soon, or what?

HP price definitely will drop if the new models or competitors new phones are coming out. Why don't you try M1 package, I think it is cheaper than ST. It is all depending on yourself see how keen you intend to own this phone.
