@ Kryptik,
I thought Richie was still with them when they recorded that, but now you've got me thinking...methinks it be time I dusted the cobwebs from the inner realms of mine pate,or maybe I'll checketh the web when I have a chance.

@Wanqa, i think that his replacement sang on that track, can't recall his name though...
Speaking of warmer climes, it's 28 at the mo, but i'm outside sweating like crazy. Worked our gatte off to buy 60m of new fencing, so i'm tearing down the old, which technically consisted of more holes than fence, and replacing it. Gotta tell you guys, it's a helluva job removing the roots of creeping vines. They'd been growing a few years, but uprooting them is an experience! Two adults, 4 13-year olds, axes, a brush saw, etc but it's taken two hours to remove a vine stump that's nearly 4 foot in diameter! Just wish Naledi Pandor could see what's happening.
EDIT- i meant circumference, not diameter

I seldom bitch but spare a thought for the poor peasant. While the networks are raking in major profits, the Vodacom GPRS signal in my neighbourhood is pathetic...it's intermittent...connecting between 6pm and 10pm is hit-and-miss. Apart from that I also get a lot of dropped calls.
The other night I missed an important call because the network was simply too busy. If Vodacom tries to put up another base station the bunny huggers will tie themselves to it claiming we'll be frying our brains with all sorts of radiation.
And it's only going to get worse with the mass migration from holidaymakers next month.
Please anyone from Vodacom reading this, would you please put up an additional base station Green Point because the one in York Road is insuffecient.

Hey speaking about networks - is MTN charging 10R per MB ? Certainly it looks like it.

@mario2002: You've probably got your phone hooked up to your laptop. No they're not charging R10/MB...last time I checked it was R1/MB on prepaid bundles...which is pretty cheap if you're just going to be surfing wap pages but darn expensive for normal internet.
I still say the networks must charge us poor peasants a flat-fee for unlimited access( at least GPRS), people with 3G can pay for the luxury.

@dr_thug: Tata has got a bad reputation in SA due to problems buyers have had with the Indica...basically ppl have complained about the poor build quality of the car. It's not the most popular car in SA. Seems like the engineers at Tata cut a lot of corners when making the car.
Can't tell you much about Mahindra, they've launched a couple of pick-ups/SUV in SA but I haven't seen any on the roads.
in India,Tata Indica is selling good as its the cheapest goodlooking big DIESEL carmade by an Indian company.it is a big hit among Indian and also among the taxi segment.but the day it was launched way back in 2000,i hated its looks.soon many people bought it and it was a big problematic car.its engin was the weakest part.soon they launched Indica V2 which looks good and improved their engine.still its not good enough.few of my relatives bought the V2 and had big problems with the engine too.they sold their indica within 1 year.
my verdict for Tata Indica

ro..great looks ,great sofa set

,cheap.
cons:-poor engine,bad build quality.
final verdict

tata indica
please dont think of mixing my patriotism with my views on an Indian car company.

@mario: Call their customer care, they should be able to tell you what's happening. As a rule I wouldn't want to surf the web via GPRS even tho you'll look sexy and geeky all once.
