@etaab
I have both the N70 and P910, apart from the camera the N70 is nowhere near as good as a p910. The interface I would say is a step back from the p910, not a more modern one. The battery life is not as good and the memory cards are a faff to get in and out.
I've had my N70 over a month now and it is not the phone I thought it would be. If this is a sign of Nokia's to come my girlfriend will be leaving the only phone manufacturer she has ever liked. Also I don't think SE have anything to worry about no matter how much people think they lead or trail phone technology.
The only reason why I have this phone is the screen is bigger than a k750 and I'm waiting to get the P990 when it's released.

@ eskimo
Im aware the UIQ interface is more capable than the S60 interface, but im generally talking about the overall appearance of it. The old UIQ GUI looks long in the tooth now compared to the latest S60 GUI. Most people go on looks alone, not what the technology can actually do.
As for battery life, none of the P series have ever been that great where battery life is concerned, its one reason why i never owned P series for longer than 1 week in the past.
I just hope SE improve battery life with the P990i, especially since the phone now uses more wireless connectivity options (3G & Wi-Fi) which require more power than before.

...instead of going upward they landed on P900 keys... which I guess no one like they are too skinny to press and doesn't look good (I hate them!!) ...
SE P990 lost the pride of its exclusive design by making it resembled to other PDA available which have almost same design except flip, which is now of NO use.
I'm really disappointed with its design more specifically the keys, keyboard position.

- I love the slim chrome P900 Keys with the blue lit numbers and letters - I think it is really classy and cool - The P910 flip keys by comparision look clumsy and more like a childs toy to me. - Funny how opinions can be so different
I was even trying to work out that if I got a P910 whether I could use a P900 key pad on it
Ah well I'm glad the SE engineers have the same styling taste as me

- I would like the screen slightly bigger (longer) like the P910/900 - not just more pixels...
Have a great day anyway...

I hope to god it has some gaming keys. That really lets the p910 down IMO.

Been a while since I've posted here but anyway...
Just so you all know I was talking to my stores SE rep and he confirmed around the 28th of January the P990 will be in vodafone stores (and others presumed).

Really ? and there was i thinking what a stupid idea - this is a business phone, and not aimed at gaming.
Maybe you should try buying a Nokia N-gage if you want gaming buttons ?

What like there is some rule saying "thou shalt only use your P-series phone for business"?! Don't be stupid. Why do you think so many games are available for it if people don't play games on it?! Why do they put an mp3 player on "business only device"?.
I use mine for business, general organisation, messaging, a phone, games and music.
The games side is let down by the lack of decent button input. That's a fact and one that SE would be wise to address.
