Does anyone know when M2 memory sticks will be available?
I will hate having only a 64MB card when I'll buy the K800. A friend of mine will be in New York for the next four weeks and i was hoping he'll get a 1GB or 2GB card for me from there.

I take it you mean the first day it came out on Virgin PAYG ? because phones like the K750i werent released on PAYG for a while after the phone official release. It'll be the same with the K800i.

Was the k750i originally scheduled for June release Etaab? Just wondering if SE will release the k800 at roughly the same time as the k750

In Eldar's review you can read that...
"At the moment widespread of this cards is minimal, but the company promises to release 512mb capacity memory cards by March and in June maximal capacity card for 2006, which is 1gb, will be released."

I think it was - I got mine in the 2nd week of May from the O2 shop and they were one of the first people to get the phone in (in the shops).
I think the K800 will possibly be a bit later this year, i doubt they will time it to exactly the same time, so my guess is the the O2 shops will have the phone about mid June, and online beggining of July.

nope
i couldn't believe it either, i had to pay the full £250 for it, but i just was too shocked to think about passing it. virgin had 1, yep just the 1, that sony ericsson had apparently given them to see if they could sell it and if they did they would be given more stock, how lucky was that. everywhere else like car phone warehouse, o2, orange and vodafone shops, phones 4 u, the link etc etc... all only had some on contract only, well the o2 shop didn't because apparently there was a problem with their software for it.
yep thats right and its all true! first day the k750 came out, i got it on pay as you go, i must be a god or something

In terms of M2 availabilty, it's available now ... and at a very competative price compared with the 1GB Duo Pro I bought for my K750 last year:
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Memory-Stick-Micro---M2
Sony 512MB - £26.99
Sony 1GB - £41.99
I'd prefer 2GB, but hey ho!
