@astigino mine also had a keypad with chinese characters, arctic blue faceplate, had it replaced with mineral gray and latin(ordinary) keypad. We have the same info at the back label. T68i phone mo. This message was posted from a T68i

@bokayo/astigino,check the menu languages at the settings menu,if it supports chinese language then it is a t68ie not t68i-even if it says t68i at the back.contact SESS regarding what software upgrade they have for it. This message was posted from a T68i

@fpf888: you could have your unit upgraded with SESS. Only T68mc units are not supported by either SESS or Semicon (in upgrading them to the latest sw version). Your unit is a T68i.

No, because keypads can be replaced.

You can checkout the label inside the phone or if the label is not there, see if it supports chinese character input.

that's the T68ie - the chinese-market equivalent of the T68i

if you got your phone from sources other than the your SP, semicon, SESS, wintelcom, and that new shop at SM N. Edsa (besides the siemens shop), then they are T68i units - models that are intended for the local market. Kung GH, HK, MY or SG, malamang mga mc or ie yan.
