Hi all,

Just got my P990i and play around with the camera..however, I feel somewhat disappointed with the picture quality..it is just not as crisp as I want it to be (pls check below pic)

Any tips or tricks? or the P990i is just like that....hope not...

ps: I have not tried to upgrade the FW...my current one is

well, that's the best you can get right now. if you bought it for the camera, then it's the wrong 2mpx phone.

@ sniker
the first picture on this page (the dux crossing) looks much clearer than yours, right?.
i have mine set to max resolution, auto focus is normal, and quality to fine. also make sure your hand is steady when you take the pix, as the phone does not have any hand movement compensation.

the pic below is out of focus, cos my hand was shaky

but this one is much better cos shakiness was gone

How did you get rid of the shakiness? Muscle relaxant (alcohol)?

@Kalu
Yes, the hand shakiness is one of the main causes. Also I played around with the different options: daylight, cloudy, and autofocus...finally get a few decent pics..check it out. So I guess so far I'm pretty OK with this pic quality , will play around some more and update later on. Thanks guys!
