I've got the newest generic firmware, using UK English, and NO swiss pro. I have no restart problems.

I bit the bullet last weekend and changed the CDA. The World Generic firmware has been quite stable, although I have had a couple of "KERN-EXEC" errors in Opera. I've not had a single instance of "Phone restarted to improve performance" since upgrading the firmware.

Is there a thread to discuss the new features and bugfixes on the various firmware versions? Is someone compiling a list of these anywhere?

That is normal, Opera seems to be the only application that still causes kern-exec errors with the latest fw. When I use WLAN+RSS+Opera together it's almost sure to cause a kern-exec error with Opera and a restart every once in a while due to WLAN. RSS+Opera+GPRS does not cause a restart, so it must be WLAN.

Its not a solution, but check to see whether your network has enabled the *#147# function.

This must be a network specific command, it doesn't work with my carrier.

Is anybody else having issues with the P990 after upgrading on SEUS where it will not turn on?

I have done my P910 numerous times since purchase a bundle of years ago, but I just ended up having to send off the P990 to SE for service.

Just wondering if anybody else is getting the white/black screen of death.
