Lets hope the exterior lens is made of scratch-proof material so as for you guys to wipe the "lens" without fear of getting dust into the actual lens & scratch or soil it??

i think the glass is scratch proof like the ones in the T650 screen.i think SE knows what they are doing.

one thing i have noticed about the new lens cover's advantage is that we won't have to worry about it's loose cover issue anymore(because it's embeeded and is protected by glass) and accidentally open it and drain battery

why is there a glass before the lens protection?
If there is a scratch over this glass, every picture taken after will be damaged....

That picture's a good example - you can imagine what that finger print on the cover will do for the picture quality, and it hasn't even got any bumfluff from your pocket all over it yet!!

This is really stupid. If the lens cover is behind the glass, why the heck do you need the lens cover in the first place?? A no use mechanism (lens cover) that can go wrong.

There must be a reason for the extra cover. Im sure all will be revealed when reviews come in.

So that you will not accidently damage the lens cover while the phone is in your pocket, resulting it not able to close the lens properly and thus will cause dust to enter the lens or scratched by your keys???
