Will SE release new Firm for K850i before Christmas?
I think that the K850i needs apart from his predecessor (K800i, similar quality pictures) and improve and take a step forward in the camera and taking pictures.
When Sony plans release a camera firm in terms for this phone?

HPM-82 working!
Got my K850i two weeks ago, and still miss my W800i, but hopefully FW update will arrive soon.
Strange thing though. Since the play-button is now gone I decided to buy a handsfree with media control buttons. Unfortunatly I bought the HPM-82, that isn't working due to the many FW bugs. And of course it didn't...
Anyway after a week using a DS200 bluetooth device, I plugged in the HPM-82 again, and now it works. All buttons now work 100%. I've noticed that the volum bar isn't showing anymore now, even when no handsfree is connected...
Guess I just have to wait and see how long that will last...
I have the old 029 firmware on an unbranded phone.

will want to fix all the issues before they release the new one. I'd quite like to see the return of the feature where videos preview in thumbnail mode. I had it on my old K610i and on my K800 before I changed the firmware out. That was quite useful for me.

Well my 4th K850i was delivered on Friday (same problems as others, lost one to flashing start-up and the rest to sticky lens covers).
Anyway the latest phone from O2 has the newer firmware (037), great I thought. Camera seems ok so far.
Most obvious bug is with the media player, shuffle doesn't work.... Seems strange but it literally repeats the song it just played, not even going to the the next one in sequence, I've tried it with Loop on and off but no change.
And while we're discussing media player, after creating a playlist and adding the songs (which takes quite some time (900+ tracks)), the list contains some duplicate listings that won't play, like a slightly adjusted track name which fails to play, the player lists tries to play them then skips to the next track, but will fail if these are selected first.
Additionally, just noticed this one, in the "Play Mode" screen there is no 'Back' button displayed and if you hit the 'Call End' button, it kills media player altogether, this happens in other apps as well and is far to easy.
Carried over from FW029 is the inability to adjust the volume on my SE speakers (the little square white ones), came with the wife's of W800i, seem to play at maximum volume only (the same track over and over - lol)
Looks like this FW release is not quite the answer to our prayers yet then.

I'm also noticing a slight crackle in the earpiece during normal phone conversations, so this phone may be going back too, will give it a few days first though.
