Then it is totally different theme but use the same name. Most probably K805 has “laSer precision” where C902 has “laZer precision”. There is Z not S. But I can be wrong.

So now that this phone had about 4 months to "mature", how does everyone feel about the phone? The phone's main selling feature, the camera, has been discussed in detail in another post. But how does everyone feel about the other aspects of the phone such as the reception quality, walkman functions, other features and general reliability?

My impression so far is that this phone was quite bad in the beginning prior to the various firmwares which appear to have fixed most of the issues and now it become a solid good phone to get. Anyone want to add their opinion? Thx.

C902 has already got several firmware updates. R3BA025-R3BH002-R3CA033-R3CA037-R3CA038. I believe it is a solid all in one phone. No doubt about it. Fast internet, fast menu, excellent build, sharp camera, great signal reception, attractive menu..what else can we expect from a tiny slim gadget like this? All is there.

According to the Software version item from then Update service menu in the Settings (General) menu, my phone has:
1204-1731
R3CA033
080703

But when I choose the Update service from the Update service menu in the Settings (General) menu, I get this message:
'Your phone already has the latest software.'

So how do I upgrade the software?

I'm also wondering how to get Google Maps into the Location services menu, and enabled to provide geotagging of photos.

Any thoughts?

Just run SEUS via PC instead of via phone itself. If it always says yours is the latest, perhaps your phone is branded or you have the wrong CDA. Please post the detail of your firmware info, most importantly your CDA. If your CDA is 'wrong', SEUS rejects it forever. You can get the CDA info from Service Menu under Customisation.

Sorry to be so clueless, but I can see no Services menu, and no Customization item under any menu. Is there any other way of finding out the CDA?

My computer is a Mac, so is there any other way of updating the firmware?

The phone is branded - O2.
