I'll visit the shop to ask about the progress tomorow morning, or tuesday if the are not open.

Being a first batch Lumia has nothing to do with my problem, I think.

Up to four weeks, as local repair services are not allowed to repair Lumias, they have to be sent to Nokia.

It was send further the 4th. I imagine that dynafix only tried to charge and flash it. Nokia will try a new battery or replace it. All other repairs are to expensive. I think.

Yeah, Dynafix aren't allowed to do more than that, your Lumia's fate is now in Nokia's hands

I think people in general have bad experiences with all manufacturers repairs. I doubt Samsung or Sony are any different as I read so many moans about them too. As I said before considering Hans had one of the early batches of Lumia it hasn't done too bad. I still find Nokia more reliable than others

I had the best experience with SE ,WRT my X10. I sent SE SA tweet complaining about my X10's USB port, within two days DHL was at my door step to collect my X10 and take it to the repair center. About a week and a half later having tweeted and emailed me details of the repair ,DHL were back with my phone.

I guess it varies country-to-country as well and who the 3rd party center are.

Havent had to send my Samsung to repair, touchwood, so i havent had experience with them.

I had a nice experience with Nokia. I had this N85 and the flex was broken, so the screen was always white. They replaced the phone for a brand new and have it fixed in less than 2 weeks. I remember mine was full of scuffs and blemishes so I thought they would be reluctant to provide any support and charge me for the repair.

Best warranties are Nokia & Apple. S.E. is (or was back then) a mixed bag.

The worst? the worst is Samsung. I had a nightmare with a Galaxy Tab who Samsung refuses to accept and kept sending me to the retailer (CPW). At the end I was able to fix it myself following some guides in XDA-developers. I promised myself to sell all the Samsung gadgets I owned and never buy anything again from them. Bunch of pricks who only want to make a quick buck from us.
