Forget about HDR stacking, I kind of knew that rumors of the camera devs doing 180 by implementing computational photography like others are doing was false. Xperia guys will not change the photography philosophy cause the core of still imaging on Xperia was Alpha camera like approach since the begging but they started to favor video with motion eye camera, now they are back to stills with OIS implementation and what not. Xperia guys will do their thing which is to perfect "analogue" approach instead of computational. You will still see blown up white sky in direct lit daytime shots and you will still not be able to read far away light signs on buildings in night time.

way too early to tell. don't know if that night shot was taken in a "night mode" or if it was taken in photo PRO or in regular cam app and with what settings, etc.

photo pro app is clearly not ready. they did not show it off in the handson and instead, just showed pics of it from presentations and the initial unveiling.

it's obviously not ready for prime time yet but it's too soon to judge on picture quality until we see shots from photo pro with actual settings being shown. these types of hands on are not exactly useful.

If phone is made to be a pocket A9, of course it wont take photos that look like very edited photo.

interesting. X1ii shows a bit higher benchmark than S20 on average.

If I have a cloudy day here.

A) my phone decides to use shutter 1/2000s.
B) my phone decides to use shutter 1/200s

A = gray clouds
B= white clouds and too bright sky

Same processing.

Do not forget that AS mostly chooses LANDSCAPE, even when HDR is required.
You can do like gsmarena does. They put on manual, turn on hdr and leave the rest auto. It is like auto hdr ...

Can someone please find memthe info about the max Shutter (if is still 30s or more) and max ISO?

I've noticed that for Xperia 1 it's not true. For some reason, in Auto mode the noise reduction is noticeably better than in manual auto with HDR. That's not to say that manual mode is useless, but this my observation from nonetheless.
