I have an Orange branded K700i and mine said the operator wouldn't allow updates.....
Maybe there is some other problem if yours is completely unbranded and still says the same!

i had some problems with some K700s here in Croatia, but this one was working normally... just checked the log and everything is the same... STRANGE

Just got the same response on my Orange (still branded) phone, it worked Ok last week before the update service was offline for all that time.

maybe it is not fully functional yet... tommorow is a new day... we can only hope... I would really like if someone can explain what different CDA numbers means, especially the last one (/x) as it seems that those decide if you can or can not use SE US.

Hey, guys. Hsa it occurred to anyone here that all these problems with the online update service is the _reason_ that O2 (and now possibly orange?) don't allow its use? A few people have had their phones disabled by corrupted firmware from the d/l service right? Maybe 02 is doing its subsribers a favor...
