Who can answer about the cookies activation bug? I have it since before R1N035 ! Now with R1AA008, still can't configure google, can't access gmail account, etc...

My only real problem with this firmware is the reminder volume - its useless - Come on SE we need to be able to asign tones/MP3s to calender just as you can in the alarm function AND have the option to sound constantly
A reminder / scheduler is a very important function of the phone for me, why have it at all if you never hear it!!!
I am using the alarm function with an MP3 assigned to it for now but its a pain to use for day to day appointments

Hi , i've upgraded my phone and everything works fine for me. The only PROBLEM i've seen is when someone is calling me , i've used a picture in contact and have a little bit delaying of 1 - 1.5 sec to view the picture of contact. First one i see the blank theme square and after 1 - 1.5 sec i see the photo of my contact. Anyone with the same problem ???

Yes i have this display delay since a long time ago ! And other old bug, when i write email and send it, the other side receive some garbage at the end of it : various letters all characters u can imagine ! 5 or 6 lines full

This is a pain, as I used to enjoy showing off to my friends by taking a panoramic picture then zooming in & scrolling across. This is no longer possible as the resulting panoramic picture is 1648x432 pixels!!"

Is the filesize of the picture quite large? The delay might be the phone loading the image, like when browsing in the file manager. Maybe try a smaller image, and/or resize the one you have to 176x220.

What type of contact picture do you use.
Have you resized to correct contact picture size or are you just using a full size camerapicture for caller ID ?
If you use a full size 2mp camerapicture it could easily take a second for the phone to load and rescale the picture everytime it has to display it as caller ID.
Caller ID's should be cropped/resized to 162x146 pixels and saved as jpg for highest compression and smallest filesize, and should be placed in phonememory, not on memorycard.
A sidenote: everything that has to do with the phones functions, should be stored in phonememory, ringtones, themes, caller ID (contact pictures), to ensure they are allways available for the phone even if the memorycard is not accessable, and to optimise for fastest acces. Memorycard should only hold things like musicfiles, games, pictures, videos.
