fedex still doesn't have the package yet so it's not even available for pick up. it will be delivered tomorrow morning. no worries. i can handle one more day. i sure as hell have plenty to do... getting it today would have just been a very, very tempting distraction

Timescape is a bit gimmicky, it's too slow and kind of useless, plus the widget is is of poor quality and too large, I've abandoned using it. Mediascape is far more useful, it starts up much faster then Timescape as well and it does a nice job, it also has a nice feature of showing your online albums from Facebook and Picasa, both of which I use (it does not do Flickr, which is fine with me since I don't care for Flickr). My only gripe with the online albums is that it doesn't save the album thumbnails on the phone, so when you go to an online album and go back it has to download all the album thumbs again. I got my phone for $512 in Chicago at Overseas electronics, $570 after you add the 10.25% tax, still cheaper then anything I found on Ebay.

Do you know why i only got about 465 mb free of internal memory when i turned on my Xperia X10 for the first time? Shouldn't i get 1 GB free?
Thanks!

Yeah, Timescape looks pretty but I'm having trouble finding a use for it and it can be slow when updating. I use Seesmic for Twitter, don't care that much for Facebook (though I have the Facebook app if I need it), and prefer to view my emails and call history in their respective apps.

Mediascape is indeed more useful, though it too can be a bit slow at times. SE needs to add a lock screen interface for it to really shine as a music player, and support for other codecs would be helpful in making it a killer video player. In the mean time I'm using bTunes for my music, which is lightning fast.

You shouldn't have a gig free, where would the operating system and programs like Timescape & Mediascape reside?

Bought a Car Charger from Ebay.

When I plug it into the phone and the car, the LED comes on (Yellow), on the Phone to show that it is charging yet niether the little battery (and the battery widget I have showing battery strength) have the charging symbol.

Looked in settings and again it clearly says 'Not Charging'.

Anyone shed any light as to why i get a charging LED and yet the phone tells me it isn't charging?

perhaps you have a faulty charger?

I have a micro USB car charger from another device I got last year. When I get my X10 i'll try it out and see if I get the same results...
