Hey any news on the 3.2 mp slider phone or was it just vaporware, atleast it will keep the excitement going on for SE till sept or oct or whenever they do finally decide K850?? anyone got some updates?

This is just the result of SE fanatics creating unrealistic hype about it. Even one prototype pic sparks a ridiculous amount of unlikely features which people think are being added. Although, its bound to happen here at esato!
Agree completely! Optical zoom is purely made up; I don't know why people bother making up specs and confusing it with the real rumours.
UPDATE:
Elena is part of the P series.
P700 - UIQ smartphone. Cheaper P series. Could be Elena.
A new UIQ system is almost complete. Known as R6 or 9.3
A possible P990 OS update.

shaliron, R6 is the next firmware of P990, not a UIQ version. But R6 is connected with your 2 last points
