let the phones release! Gsmarena will be putting up their review anytime now. Moreover, I will be frank, I didnt like the arc when it leaked, and even in the beginning. But it was truly amazing when I held it in hand. I only liked its looks, not specs. Also, all variants of T will looks similar from the front, thanks to very small bezels. I dont think it would have been a good idea to make the screen itself have other colors

Seriously though, the 2010 and 2011 has a couple of neat designs, but they all had shockingly poor build quality. The only phone from the 2010/2011 series that had decent build quality was the Ray. Everything else was cheap glossy plastic with cheap Chrome plastic that looked ugly in a lot of cases. A few days of use would scratch off the shiny surface to reveal horribly ugly pastic beneath.
You can call the current ones black squares all you want, but at least there's no cheap glitzy chrome plastic everywhere. Goodness me.
I'd also like to point out that Sony (Ericsson)'s market share, though small compared to Samsung, has increased in the last year. Why is this? Because the 2010 phones were half-assed shite and with the exception of the Ray, the 2011 were mediocre in every respect save for the Arc S (which was still not as good as the competition on the hardware front).
We're fanboys for liking the current phones? Sure, if you want. Considering I didn't like a most of the smartphones (Arc S and Ray were the only good ones) from the previous 2 years, I doubt the validity of that statement.
Also the UI has barely changed. Want more colour? Use a more colourful background.

Also this notion that "My opinion is right and if you disagree than you are a blind die-hard fanboy who needs to realise the truth" needs to die. Sorry Mediar, but you are not the be all and end all prophet of Smartphone design, whose senseless rants are nothing but the purest of truths.
Fact is, everything you say is massively subjective.

Well, this particular design isn't bad, but they used it already in 4 phones, which is more that enough before it gets overused. Same applies to the so-named Arc-series - again 4 phones, which look absolutely identical, making this design overused as well. They should have made no more than 2 phones with NXT design, 2 phones with Arc design, and the rest of the 2012 Xperias - something different. Saying different, I mean very very different from what they're now. Acro S and Acro HD are the most most boring, ugly and pointless devices this year.

You are joking aren't you? The Acro HD was a huge success in Japan and it's design has given birth to the new Xperia's.
Arc/Acro + Acro HD/S = GX/V/T/TX/J. Not many reviewers dislike the 'new arc' design.
Sleek, thin, individual, ergonomic and very easy on the eye.

I love the Sony designs,like.no.other on the market. Yes they made a few that look similar but most manufacturers do i.e. Samsung. Not all Sony phones look the same,they made some different designs like the stunning looking Sola which I want
