Mornin all.
Ed PSU replacing even you can do
just pull the plugs, unscrew the unit and pop the new one in. Not forgetting to plug everything back in.

do i need to worry about voltages if i get a more poweful one? damn psu is about the only bit ofmy pc i havent replaced.. started making a bad noise for a couple of mins when i first switch my pc on. made the same noise about 6 months ago then stopped again

If your buying a new psu your best getting a amd or intel (depending on which you have) approved one
