Senisho, if you have more than one wap configurations on your phone, get to the gprs settings and activate Vomibile GPRS.

@Seinsho: Is the GPRS signal bar present? its the blue unbroken bar above the network signal strength indicator. If it isn't, then reboot the phone and try again.

I still don't get it myself...I have been browing with vmobile wap for close to 2 months now yet 2 of my colleagues at the office and my sis at home do not even have the GPRS signal on their phones! It beats me.

I know people who have the same issue with MTN, and I imagine that there may exist Glo subscribers who do not have a GPRS signal on their lines till date.

You're quite right Aya, I guess its a case of "The early birds getting The best worms" I know that Glo at a time delibrately stopped activation of GPRS when they reached a certain number. Maybe its the same thing that applies to the other operators.

I have been in Ajah (after Lekki) and now Ogba in the past 2 days.... and no GPRS signal on my Vmobile and MTN SIM's. I am wondering what is going on in Lagos.

Oh Lagos... never fails to amaze me.

@coola: MTN GPRS around Ikeja/Ojodu/Ogba is active only at night from around 11pm and disappears anytime from 4a.m.

Vmobile GPRS seems pretty stable at Ojodu, but that may be because I only get to play with my wife's phone when she returns from work in the evenings.
