@alfaromeo, re: Opera browsing over Bluetooth:

0) This might be off topic here! But this is also discussed in the P800 Tips and Tricks thread in the P800 section.

1) BT USB adapters are around P2000-2500. Most people here use MSI or Billionton brand (I use the latter), there are others...

2) Once you establish a connection with the SE Phone Connection Link over BT then practically any P800 Internet app can use your PC's connection whether this is dialup, network, cable, DSL. The only thing I can'ty get working is the P800's native WAP browser - that always looks for GPRS. But Opera works fine and can also view WAP pages.

3) Yes the Bluetooth theoretical maximum is 10 meters but it is also true that obstructions (such as walls, doors and ceilings) also hinder the signal. So in your case if the server is on anotherfloor, I doubt it would work. But if if you have a network workstation on the same floor as your phone you should be able to get an Internet connection thru Bluetooth.

Oo nga, any news on when the new firmware for the P800 will be available?? (Preferably sa Podium branch nga). Smartnet already acquired the update. Bilis nila!

Pa-update na din kung may stock na ng Blue Torch! Thanks!

I was in a hurry that time so got my phone on my table then tried wiping the dust using a micro cleaner for eye glasses. didnt noticed the damaged i have done to my phone until i reached my office. kakaines! i think hindi na kaya tagalin yun gasgas.

@aki
semicon southmall branch ako naman when i moved to my new place a lot of dust particles settled under my p800 screen even with a brando on... so i removed the thing na lang, took it to semicon coz i thought they can remove the dust but as it turns out their technician was hesitant to remove the lcd for cleaning coz he was afraid that he might not be able to put the lcd back on... sheesh. so im stuck with the dust until now... ill bring it to smartnet for an upgrade and they said they'll take a look at my screen. la pa naman akong gasgas so far thank goodness...
