People new to the thread should have seen the rumours and features that we were expecting..

Your expectations are sky high. The Z3 and Compact were amazing, Z4 and Z5 were handicapped by their processors unfortunately but were decent otherwise. XZ phones have all been solid and the XZ2 the best in all departments. If you look beyond hype and marketing the facts show that the XZ2 is excellent, it just needs someone with big balls to say its better than the S9 or iPhone X.

Those of us who had Z5 know that CPU problem was a myth. Still works nicely as my back up phone. Samsung propogenda was in full power those days.

I think XZ2 is ugly. But I cant deny it has very interesting stuff.
All sites say the screen is excelent. Brightness over 600.
Sunlight contrast ratio about 3.6.
The sRGB is 153%, the DCI-P3 I dont know. But for example iphone X has 103% and 142% for S9.
Both oled.
The screen lets you watch everything as HDR. No other can do it.
Speaker are not as loud as other phones, but sounds much better than s9 or iX.
Just wish both had same design.
Many tech sites say battery endurance is pretty impressive, like Z3 android 4.4...
I have seen many photo samples, many of them XZ2 did better than phones like U11, s9, pixel 2 or p20 pro.
Other situations results were worse.
All tech sites like the 4K HDR.
Something that bothers me is I have the impression that STEADY SHOT used to be better on Z5/XZ.
I dont know if it is due to 23MP. Even on imx220 looks more effective.
I could get XZ Premium, price dropped almost 50%. But until end of year it will be almost 2 , and P will be last update probably.
So I got interested in XZ2P, I want the 4K also the Aube.
Too sad just Europe and East Asia will get it.
Hope some seller here getbthe phone to resell.

iPhone X's SRGB value is at 123%.
From my experience, XZ2's battery is better than when my Z3 is at 4.4 and 5.0 (I've had the best battery with 5.0 at the time).
I still thought that XZ2's stabilisation is still better than its predecessors, and between those top flagships out there, they're all just neck-a-neck in image quality, sometimes XZ2 can beat P20 Pro's picture, S9+ can beat P20 Pro, OP6 can beat XZ2, and so on.

What's will all those rumours, saying that the Z5 Tablet Series are cancelled? What kind of fake rumours are those?
