@remi: The YahooMail-SonyEericsson issue is widely reported here on Esato. I have not taken the liberty to follow it in detail though, so I have no tips save that the problem may not be from vmobile, but a browser incompatibility of some sort. I may have missed something though... This message was posted from a Nokia

I hardly experience any of the problems you guys have listed with MTN and Vmobile. My Vmobile GPRS is attached all the time, but occasionally is temporarily unavailable, and yeah times out constantly, but I still get the job done with it. I open my yahoo mailbox with it and even reply messages.
With MTN, I have noticed that the GPRS signal is temperamental, so my T610 is permanently on its cradle next to the computer, that way I have GPRS service 24/7 I'm making this post with it. May I add that I am now being billed for MTN GPRS, but the N400 recharge card I loaded yesterday still has N304 credit left, and God knows I've done nothing less than 80mb since then.

Nope! No GPRS SIGNAL this side of Ogba. I took a few minutes to check V and MTN again. But Glo GPRS has saved the day... AGAIN. Without Glo, I would have been stranded in Ilorin last week too! What do I say? UP GLO! This message was posted from a T610

@amby: I did over 30mb again yesterday night and my credit is still intact. Nice billing. @cool: still no doubt that glo gprs is still the most reliable. Honestly, mtel's closed-door policy on gprs is not helping them. They say its restricted to contract lines, but who uses it? Bull. This message was posted from a Nokia

@AYA, luck finally smiled on my pc/modem connection this morning. It's showing connected but no page has opened yet. On my first try, i substituted the "x" for 1(CID). Could it be dt i have to try other num's or is it a network problem? My phone's showing connected wit a progress of 68kb data sent and 336kb recieved.

@bennie: The ratio of data sent to that received indicates that you may have the proper connection. Usually if the connection is wrong, more data is sent and less received. I suggest you disconnect and reconnect a couple of times to get things rolling (dont touch the settings for now; just reconnect). By the way, I presume that we are looking at an MTN GPRS connection here? This message was posted from a Nokia
