it seems like it's fake to me since currently Google has only announced Kitkat 4.4, right? An incremental update would still be announced by google first and used by google on the nexus 5 first. Sony wouldn't be working on it so soon..

The red version is fake for sure, it appears to be a poor photoshop of the purple version. The colour blending on the frame is poor and doesn't even look realistic.

King James - I had the Z early this year (a purple one) and I loved it, believe it or not my very first Android phone coming from an SE Satio of which I had two and still have them, Satio camera was extremely good and in some ways better than the Z, my Z was stolen - long story which I won't go into.
I then bought a white Z Ultra which was extremely good but couldn't live with the size or the camera - I might still have it if the camera had been as good as the Z1 but it wasn't and a very big problem for me - taking low light photo's was simply impossible so I sold it and waited a couple of weeks for the Z1
Right now I can't think of one single thing that I don't like about the Z1, it fills my every expectation and then some, every aspect of this device is simply awsume, I have two immediate friends that I see on a daily basis one has an S3 and the other has a brand new 5s, they are both seriously considering a switch to Sony because they can't compete on any level with my Z1
If you are not happy with the Z1 you have then there is something seriously wrong with it

I really hope this to be true and to come to Italy.. I love the Sony Red Products... and I was really sad when they announced the Z1 without the red color! I'm looking forward to it

I believe you, no question. But I don't want the Z1 anymore, the Z at the time impressed me more. For me it's just too small. I found a buyer already, he will pick it up in few hours. I'm angry that I've sold the good Z two days ago. Now I go buy Z Ultra maybe and wait then until next generation Zeds 2014...
