hey msum..select only nokia6610i as your modem and try querying it..if it does not work..change the comm port and try again..u will hav no problem with it and also use *99***1#...cheers

Are u able to connect your phone to PC Suite? If yes, then it surely indicates that you have installed cable drivers correctly. Else, you have to install correct drivers. Please see in Nokia Connection manager to know In which port you are able to connect.
Secondly, you have to disconnect from pc suite. Otherwise the port will not be available for you.
Please see all those things and reply. Sometimes, removing cable from USB port and re-inserting may help.

In majority WinXP systems, COM1 is reserved by OS. I have seen this in 100+ computers. So I suspect this might be the problem with msum. But this is not always true. If your serial cable is installed in COM1, go for it.

i didnt tried his method.... I use mobile office for Wap only..... I think it should work on any phone because fault is with Airtel apn

@msum i have the same problem with my 7250 on one of my pc's, but it works in the other. For me the windows xp assigns the com port automatically. BTW i'm using the infrared port and not using the nokia suite. Try uninstalling the 6610i driver and let XP autodetect it again. Also try disabling the nokia suite.
