Hello
I have the K610 since september and I'm very impressed (in particular support of EAAC+ from winamp).

However there's a tiny detail that's bothering me: alarm volume. Whenever I select a song as an alarm sound (in Organizer > Alarms) the volume starts fine but continues to increase until it becomes way too loud and the speaker distorts like crazy. Which makes the whole thing quite unusable.

Does anyone know how to adjust the alarm sound volume, and/or turn off the auto increase? (I've tried the obvious, ie. the +/- buttons, with no result).

TIA for the help

afaik it depends on how the ring is set at the tones ( ringing, ascending etc )

Folks, i just have a couple related questions: 1) Can the K618 casing be used for the K610? And if yes, 2) will the M2 card slot become hotswappable? Thanks

Nope, the alarm ignores those settings. Seems to be very stubborn.
Maybe a fix is coming in a firmware update.
Is there a way to file bug reports?

@kunal22
No, you have to buy one (unlike the walkman models, w810 et al)

the way it is now, K610 is hot-swappable. only, you'll actually have to take out the back cover to expose the card slot. it works the same way with W300 and Z530

K618 has identical hardware, if i'm not mistaken. the cases do not look like you can swap just the front and back covers though (like you do with nokias). If you're a hardcore modder you might want to try swapping the innards of both phones. might be doable with a few hole drills here are there. someone around here at esato did it with a K750 front and back and a W800 middle casing
