Has anyone successfully edited the firmware not to display the logo? I followed the guide on topsony.com but when I flash with davinci I get an error half way through.

Remind that some telephonic companies record the information of name of the operate oner the card SIM, like for example Vodafone.

In these cases, in order that the operator's name not appear it is necessary to enter in touch with the operator and to ask for in order to deactivate the GPRS, and after doing process:

1 ) Writing GDFS's file with the program SEMCtool selecting the menu "Repair", dial options "Rebuid SP Area" and "Remake CRC`s", and the option "Write GDFS file", introducing gdfs's file. Click in " DO CHEAP..."

2 ) To flash a MAIN fimrware edited and finalize .

It is necessary to have cable of service to use SEMCtool.

Davinci 13,7 or 13,8 do not work with firmware edited.
Use most recent Davinci's versions. Necessary 1 LOG.

I have this error after i loaded the new menu file(.ml) and the respective picture files:

"DynamicMenu Error
Errors occur in the menu.ml file. This may render the menu unusable."

After that if I press ok, the new menu is showing, But how to get rid of this warning message?

i took the file with operator logo...

when i made everything showed by mb-new on page 2 of this thread, i open the far, and there some files on \\DRM folder... i just copy the files out of my phone, delete every file, put all custom files from custom.rar, in the custom folder, create a new drm folder empty, finalized the far and start my phone...
it not show the operator´s logo.

When i try to flash my phone at the first time, i took the main without a logo and the file was corrupted. it gives me a lot of trouble to repair my phone by myself!!!

1. Browse to the folder /ifs/settings/messaging/ with FAR Manager
2. select pref_store.txt an hit F4
3. Just change "/smsdata" in "/tpa"
4. Save the changes
5. go back to "root" like mb-new description and shutdown the loader
6. Now restart your Phone and be happy

For me it worked perfekt!
