Autostart requires Symbian Signed status and we currently do not walk that route.

a freeware app can be symbian signed too lisa no cost if that is the issue, and time, well, a freeware can wait no?

experiencing a new issue now lisa..
even when clean up is not selected, and memory reclaim is at lowest setting, its still closing any apps i havve open when i leave them for more than 30 seconds, prompting the SMP text outlining how much memory has been saved.
Not sure i can be bothered with these little niggly problems anymore to be honest.
Is there any updates planned??
Im currently using 1.51

We don't like that. Furthermore, SMP is not freeware.

That sounds odd. Please double-check if both cleanup options are unchecked in Settings/Task, and see if it happens after a reboot.

Yes, there will be several updates to SMP, starting with 1.60 around the end of July.

Well, since you guys are in the single feature apps mode (tweakpeaks and call thingy), then why not make a freeware single feature program that handles autostarting of a list of applications that you can choose. I am sure many people here would love to see something like that, since its extremely useful. That could then be symbian signed with the freeware licence, no fees and everyone is happy, if they are willing to wait for it to be signed.

Just exclude the app in question from the "End all" command, using the task info dialog's Manage tab.
Nope! Have the same problem with TomTom. The 'exclude...' is even greyed out and I could not select anything there. In any case, of course I have 'end applications' selected since I want to have them ended. BUT, NOT TomTom. And this smp pro 151 is closing TomTom as soon as I close the flip!
Crap!
And yes, I have NOT selected close 'idle apps' only close when flip closed. Works fine with all other applications, just not the Important One, tomtom.
Any input here?

You need to select the app whose features you want to change before opening the Task info dialog. The Include in End all option is only grayed out for some system programs, but not for TomTom or any other ordinary application.

Yes, I know that the program must be open... it is! Still, even though it is NOT included in end all tasks, smp is closing it with flip close!
