My system info is a bit strange ...
Phone CXC162037 R7A001
Bluetooth CXC162058 R4F01
Organizer CXC162036 R3B01
CDA CDA162008/64 R3A01
What's with the CDA being 162008/64?
The phone was purchased from Carphonewarehouse as an unbranded/sim free phone yesterday (£500 is not cheap

)
So can anyone tell me what the 64 signifies and also why mine shows 162008 when everyone elses is 162007?
I remember there used to be a list of what the numbers meant on the 910i but dont know if these would be the same for 990i?
Thanks for any help

my biggest irritation has been addressed at least - the kern-exec/IRsendlisten error that would totally kill the phone is no more!
nothing is perfect of course - this firmware is an incremental improvement, but at least it is overall an improvement.
one strange new development i've noticed is that the message alert light keeps blinking after receiving a new sms message, even after viewing the message, and will not go away until i reboot. anyone else see this?

Heh, just noticed that you can pause the media player with the handsfree button (at least with the handsfree that came with the phone). Just a short press and it pauses, then press again (directly after doesn't work for some reason) to start playing again.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I couldn't find anything about it in the manual, just checked.

I did a "format internal disk" from service menu, after upgrading. To be precise: in rds settings, activate all the stuff, and then start listen different radio stations. See how it works.

I have done that and what a mistake it was!After doing it,the radio became useless,since every time I opened it,the phone restarted.But then again,I have an older fw version so maybe the new one doesn't have this problem.Anyway,I don't understand why you ask people to do this,since it restarts the phone all the time
