Love it!

You've posted some great pics; those seagull pictures couldn't have been the easiest to take (i.e. moving objects!) but they came out well. Good stuff!
I think that rickety old building would also look really great in black and white, or even sepia.

@Myth

Those pictures taken in Turkey? If so what part?

And as for the bike/scooter thing, either it is an old and used motor vehicle, or the owner is trying to get the most speed out of its little engine and has taken away anything that will add weight even teh mirrors lol, but they seem to have forgotten the little basket on the back

Used to do that way back with the honda supra's and the innovas hahah making that little 125cc engine work!

Yeah, it's even very hard to catch a moving object with a (D)SLR, so it's not hard to guess that it is impossible to do that with a camera phone, as the response time is way too slow.

The trick is to guess the direction of the object and to hold your camera in this direction and to wait for the object to pass it.

That's how I've taken those pics

You're right, looks great in both:

I live in Istanbul and have taken those seagull pics on the way to 'Buyuk Ada' (Big Island), which is the biggest of an island group in the Sea Of Marmara.

The pics with the bike, palm tree and spooky house were taken on the island.

Indeed, I'll go back and make the owner aware of it

@ myth:
The black and white option looks particularly good.

Taken today in Hastings, obviously with the phone's sepia effect:
