I'm sending mine back for repairs...

Hope they give me a new one, because the back case is also making crackling noises...

It's available, just not through the SEUS. Service centres have it. Look at the first post in this thread.

Not all service centers have the new firwmare as of yet.

SE are very slow in releasing the firmware at present. To be honest, before you do anything, i would check what firmware version they have.

R1CA037 seems to be new phone dependent at the moment. I have only heard of a few people taking it to service points and getting it reflashed with R1CA037.

Also not all networks have approved R1CA037 at present.

@CruSifiXken, What network is your phone on? Or is it generic

Anyone knows why the battery after a charge stays at 99% and then to 97% only one minute after ???

It's possible to be the charger? Or the new battery??

I did that, got it back yesterday after 13 days. They gave me a new phone but it still has the old firmware (and thus photo non-flash issue) and also the squeaky case. So, didn't have my phone for two week, wasted two lunchbreaks taking to shop & picking it up, wasted another evening redoing all the setup and now in exactly the same postion I was two weeks ago e.g duff phone. The only plus is that I took out the battery on the one I returned so now have a spare.

New Davinci client released: V.22.30 19.11.2007

- New A2 Platform Flash/Unlock Support added!
- A2 Phones: K850/W910/Z750/V640 Supported for Flash/Debrand/Unlock

But there no info about generic R1CA037 FS, only branded...

So anyone try this yet? I'm willing to switch to a branded version until the generic version is available on DVT if it will fix the camera flash sync problem and Applications/Games "Operation failed" error.

I think i may have uncovered a new Bug in the K850i

Memory leakage.

My New K850i that i have has for about a week came with R1CA037 firmware and after deleteing all the stuff of the phone i was left with 35mb, Bear in mind that the R1CA029 with the same stuff removed i was left with 38mb.

Any way, after installing a few feeds etc, I know normaly have 34mb and a 4gb m2 card.

On using the phone at the end of each nigght i have noticed that the 34mb has dropped to between 31 and 33mb (depending on the usage that day).

So for example last night the phone was down to 33mb (1mb less) Not much you think, So i cleared the cache on the browser and cleared my sms, it was still 33mb But after rebooting the phone, its back to 34mb.

Same happens every day with R1CA037, but it didnt with R1CA029.

Very strange indeed. Has any one else noticed this?

I think most will have noticed this, as it states it in the back of the manual, in the FAQ section, stating that the phone must be rebooted every day to conserve memory.

I don't know if anybody has found this bug before, but the sound control doesn't work when having the Media menu in landscape - well, it is able to control the sound, but you don't see the usual sound level display at the top of the screen.

There's also another problem in landscape - some of the soft key names are gone - i.e. there's no 'Choose' in landscape in my phone.
