I am yet to test camera outside since updating but I see no difference when taking photos indoors. I have no idea about camdriver how do I find that out? As for the phones performance well its too early to tell. I hope the split mirrored screen problem has gone.

I have noticed something about my camera even before I updated the firmware. When I first turn camera on before I take a photo my view finder is blurry like looking through steamed up window. Its still smooth to pan around but its blurry until I take a photo. After this its fine. But if I turn camera off then back on again its blurred again. Why? It was not that way before when I first got it. Could my lens be slightly outta place? The pictures taken are fine though. And yes my phone too loses time when I removed battery not tried that yet with new firmware. Will try in a bit. Also I forgot to say that blurred view finder stays that way when taking pics when focus is set to infinate. I find the Walk Mate application very inaccurate. It goes faster than your walking and stops when in my pocket. Crap.

Oh wow thats good its fixed the time and date thing. How long did you leave battery out for cos I noticed it takes about 30 seconds then its gone if you get sim and battery back in quicker its still kept time. But anyway least its fixed. So if you prefer this phone to the Nokia that says alot about SE and alot about Nokia lol I will have your Nokia or swap it for brand new w595. I won a w595 still waiting for it to arrive though

Update I just done a test with new firmware. I took battery out left it for over 1 minute and switched back on. Guess what? Time and date had reset i know its only a minor quibble but its stupid dont SE phones have internal battery keeping time when turned off and battery removed for short periods? I can live with it but I also thought new firmware had fixed it. I have noticed now since updating camera pics outdoors do seem a little sharper with more natural colours. But I still have the blurry problem before taking photo.

Yeah I remember the w910 did it too. My old K800i never did it. Poor really but still only a minor niggle. One great thing I noticed about this phone is it never seems to crash restart or turn itself off which in general for a new model is quite something for Sony Ericsson
