Ok ive just updated mine.
I notice no difference, all user data is still present (thankfully !). The phone still has no standby themes other than SE's own. I think thats how SE want it - the Satio to look different from Nokia's similar S60 touchscreen cousins. Damn !
On the plus side, the phone has gone from S60 style sluggish interface to lightning quick. Im impressed !

I dont want to. But why ? to get the standby themes to work ? thats a big step just to simply get a choice of standby themes.

Does doing the hard reset actually work mate?... Or after a while does the standby problem come back again?

Everyone seems to be having problems with standby themes but mine work fine, I have 5 to choose from but only use the sony ericcson one as it's the one i'm used to. Love to swap the problem for the annoying text message problem I have.

The standy theme bug is wiped out ONLY if you do a hard reset before the update FW

"... lost my dictionary after the update!!! I tried hard reset, then re-install, then hard reset again but no luck...!! HELP..."
I have also suffered the same problem. When I clicked my Dictionary icon it says: Load Dictionary Failed, You Should Reinstall The Dictionary Package.

Ive got my Satio set up exactly how i like my S60 phones so at the moment im not too fussed about the standby themes. Especially since theres no guarantee they'll start functioning.
